Proper width, spacing and brush stroke of our stencils makes it easy to read, from a distance while driving. Our “Edge Distances” are also bigger than most. It’s not just about over spray protection, it’s about strength.
Our stencils are manufactured from Low Density Polyethylene Plastic ( LDPE ). LDPE is certainly reusable, easily cleaned and is the popular choice among pavement marking companies. Choose either 60 Mil thick = 1/16″ material for occasional use or 125 Mil thick = 1/8″ for professional use. Try not to buy anything thinner than 60 Mil. I’ve been striping parking lots for (29) years and all of my own, personal parking lot stencils, which are hanging on my shop wall, are 125 Mil. But, for occasional use, the 60 Mil will serve you well.
