Next, we’ve listed common sizes for the Block Style Numbers. These numbers are made in accordance with Federal Spec AC 150/5390-2C. Numbers measure 18″ tall and 36″ tall.
All stencils are manufactured from Low Density Polyethylene Plastic ( LDPE ). LDPE is certainly reusable, easily cleaned and is the popular choice among pavement marking companies. Choose either 60 Mil thick = 1/16″ for occasional use or 125 Mil thick = 1/8″ for professional use. Try not to buy anything thinner than 60 Mil material. I stripe parking lots. I’ve been in full time business for (29) years and all of my own, personal parking lot stencils are 125 Mil. BUT…for occasional use, the 60 Mil will serve you well.
