Parking Lot Arrow Stencil Swept Back Wing
This listing is for our Parking Lot Arrow Stencil Swept Back Wing Design. This Arrow Stencil Head is our Swept Back Wing Design and NOT an Equilateral Design. And, they ARE “Matching Height“. ( The height of the turning arrow matches the height of the corresponding straight arrow. ) Call me if you need to discuss a custom size. 614.237.8884. Sizes listed are the actual height of the Arrow, measured from tip to stem. AND again, the accompanying Turning Arrow is a “Matching Height” Design. Sizes range from 40″ Tall up to 72″ Tall. All Arrow Stencils here are (1) piece, as shown. Our arrows have 3″ and 4″ of Edge Distance because it’s not just about over spray protection, it’s about strength.
All stencils are manufactured from Low Density Polyethylene Plastic. ( LDPE ). LDPE is certainly reusable, easily cleaned and the popular choice among pavement marking companies. Choose your material thickness; 60 Mil = 1/16″ thick for occasional use or 125 Mil = 1/8″ thick for professional use. Try not to buy anything thinner than 60 Mil. I’ve been striping parking lots for (30) years and all of my own, personal stencils are the 125 Mil = 1/8″ thick material but, for occasional use, our 60 Mil = 1/16″ thick material will serve you well.
Next…height is somewhat dependent on the speed of traffic and the distance away. If traffic is moving at 5 MPH and 30 feet away, ( at a bank ), I’ve used a 48″ Tall Arrow. If traffic is moving at 9 MPH…ish, or more and 30 yards away, ( at a strip mall ) I’ve used 60″ and 72″. When choosing, consider this; more easily seen, from a distance, while driving. I hope that helps some.
