MCD (3) Part Circle Arrow Parking Lot Stencil
This is our McDonald’s McDonalds style MCD (3) Part Circle Arrow Parking Lot Stencil. We’ve sold many of these to different stores, drive thru establishments etc. This is a (3) piece stencil. It can therefore be used (2) different ways. The circle / disk / polka dot portion has a 42″ diameter. I can spray that first, using the color of my choice. When dry, I can lay down the circle that has the arrow cutout, point the arrow in the direction I choose then spray using a different color of choice. OR…some prefer to lay the “scrap arrow cutout on the ground, inside the circle / polka dot and spray. The loose arrow prohibits the paint from hitting the asphalt. One step, all done. But, may be a bit drippy. You choose.
Most drive thru lanes are no less than 108”. ( That’s narrow. ) This arrow can be easily seen from a short distance while driving. And, you can spray several arrows within the drive lane, leading to a destination. Our “Edge Distances” are bigger than most. It’s not just about over spray protection, it’s about strength. Our stencils are manufactured from Low Density Polyethylene Plastic ( LDPE ). LDPE is certainly reusable, easily cleaned and is the popular choice among pavement marking companies. Choose either 60 Mil thick = 1/16″ for occasional use or 125 mil thick = 1/8″ for professional use. Try not to buy anything thinner than 60 Mil. It tends to be flimsy / flutter and may be overpriced. I’ve been striping parking lots for (28) years and all of my own, personal parking lot stencils are 125 Mil. BUT…for occasional use, the 60 Mil will serve you well.
