The letters measure 9″ wide. It is a (1) piece stencil and spans 42″, left to right. The letters are The Department of Transportation style / font. As a note…if you prefer the Individual Department of Transportation Letter Stencils, please click; Department of Transportation Category. We offer 48″ heights, 60″, 72″ and 96″. Those particular individual letters measure 16″ wide.The material is Low Density Polyethylene Plastic. LDPE. The Best. All pavement marking companies buy. LDPE is easily cleaned and certainly reusable. We offer (2) material thicknesses. Choose 60 Mil ( 1/16″ thick ) for occasional use. Choose 125 Mil ( 1/8″ thick ) for professional use. Try not to buy anything thinner. It’ll flutter, may not ever lay flat and is proportionately overpriced. All of my own, personal stencils are 125 Mil…but the 60 Mil will serve you well.
