Electric Vehicle Charging Stencil

First; I snap a chalk line along the bottom / beginning of each parking lot stall. Then, I align the bottom of the outer, “polka dot” stencil along that chalk line. I spray this polka dot using the color of choice. I carefully remove the outer, polka dot stencil. When that paint is dry, I lay the inner, circular stencil, containing the words, on that painted polka dot. I spray using the color of choice.
If I am spraying (2) or more stalls, side by side, I snap (1) long chalk line along the bottom of all stalls, first. I use it as a guide. Therefore, all stencils will be lined up and straight. I hope that all helps.
The diameter of the circle is 41″. The EV letters measure 12″ tall. The CHARGING ONLY letters measure 6″ tall.
All stencils are manufactured from Low Density Polyethylene Plastic ( LDPE ). LDPE is certainly reusable, easily cleaned and is the popular choice among pavement marking companies.
Choose either 60 Mil thick = 1/16″ for occasional use or 125 mil thick = 1/8″ for professional use. Try not to buy anything thinner than 60 Mil. Anything thinner tends to be flimsy / flutter and may be overpriced. Click here to read more; Read Our Blog.
I’ve been striping parking lots for (28) years. All of my own, personal stencils are 125 Mil = 1/8″ thick material. But, for occasional use, our 60 Mil = 1/16″ thick material will serve you well.
