96″ AHEAD Stencil 8′ AHEAD Stencil
This is our 96″ AHEAD Stencil 8′ AHEAD Stencil using the Department of Transportation FONT. These INDIVIDUAL Letters measure 16″ wide and and have a 3″ Edge Distance or more. Most D.O.T. Stencils / Font match, across the country. But I cannot guarantee. We’ve made different sizes for FL, TX, NC and GA. Most, just a 1″ difference here and there. If you’re trying to match what’s on the ground, I’d measure first just in case. And / or, trim the stencil on site. Our stencils are manufactured from Low Density Polyethylene Plastic ( LDPE ). LDPE is certainly reusable, easily cleaned and is the popular choice among pavement marking companies. Choose either 60 Mil thick = 1/16″ for occasional use or 125 Mil thick = 1/8″ for professional use. Try not to buy anything thinner than 60 Mil material. I’ve been striping parking lots for (30) years and all of my own, personal stencils, are the 125 Mil = 1/8″ thick material but, for occasional use, our 60 Mil = 1/16″ thick material will serve you well.
Notes…if you have some of the letters, such as the “H” from SCHOOL or…if you’d rather only purchase (1) “A”, call me.
