Parking Lot Arrow Stencils Large
These are our (2) piece, Department of Transportation ( DOT ) Style, Parking Lot Arrow Stencils Large. The Straight Arrow measures; 120″ Tall x 40″ Wide. We offer (2) sizes for the Turning Arrows. One Turning Arrow measures; 108″ Tall x 76″ Wide. The other Turning Arrow measures 96″ Tall x 72″ Wide. ( 8′ x 6′ WalMart ) Your job may specify which. If you have questions, please call. 614.237.8884. I’ve used the top portion of this larger, straight arrow on many malls, shopping centers, intersections and larger lots. I’ve only had to add the extended stem on actual DOT jobs.
All stencils are manufactured from Low Density Polyethylene Plastic. ( LDPE ). LDPE is certainly reusable, easily cleaned and the popular choice among pavement marking companies. Choose your material thickness; 60 Mil = 1/16″ thick for occasional use or 125 Mil = 1/8″ thick for professional use. Try not to buy anything thinner than 60 Mil. I have been striping parking lots for (30) years. All of my own, personal stencils, including my arrows, which are hanging on my shop walls, are the 125 Mil thickness. BUT…for occasional use…the 60 Mil thickness will serve you well.
Next…stencil size semi-depends on speed and distance. If traffic is moving at 5 MPH and 30 feet away, perhaps at a Bank, I’ve used a 48″ Arrow. If it’s the drive lane of a strip mall, or a hospital “ring road”, traffic may be moving at 10 MPH and 30 yards away. I’ve used just the top portion of this (2) piece Department of Transportation Style Large Straight Arrow Stencil. The idea is; more easily seen from a distance, while driving. I hope I helped some.
