Our stencils are manufactured from Low Density Polyethylene Plastic ( LDPE ). LDPE is the popular choice among pavement marking companies because it’s easily cleaned and certainly reusable. We offer (2) material thicknesses. 60 Mil = 1/16″ thick material and 125 Mil = 1/8″ thick material. Choose 60 Mil for occasional use or choose 125 Mil for professional use. I’ve been striping parking lots for (28) years and all of my own, personal parking lot stencils, which are hanging on my shop wall, are the 125 Mil thickness. BUT…for occasional use, the 60 Mil thickness will serve you well.
