TOW AWAY ZONE Parking Lot Stencil
This is our TOW AWAY ZONE Parking Lot Stencil. This stencil comes in (1), (2) or (3) pieces, depending on the size. The image is our 18″ version. In the Gallery Images, you’ll see the 12″ version. You’ll also see the 4″ version with a normal “Edge Distance” as well as a shortened Edge Distance for the vertical portion of a curb. Questions ? Call ( 614 ) 237.8884. Bottom line here…sizes range from letters that are 4″ tall…up to letters that are 24″ tall.
Proper width, spacing and brush stroke, of the letters, makes our stencils easy to see and read, from a distance, while driving. Our “Edge Distances” are also bigger than most. It’s not just about over spray protection, it’s about strength.
Notes…
Our stencils are manufactured from Low Density Polyethylene Plastic ( LDPE ). LDPE is certainly reusable, easily cleaned and is the popular choice among pavement marking companies. Choose either 60 Mil thick = 1/16″ for occasional use or 125 Mil thick = 1/8″ for professional use. Try not to buy anything thinner than 60 Mil material. I’ve been striping parking lots for (29) years and all of my own, personal parking lot stencils are 125 Mil. BUT…for occasional use, the 60 Mil will serve you well.

Note…the “Curb Cut” version has the 4″ wording low to the bottom with only 1/2″ edge distance. All other sizes are centered, as always. ( See the image.) It’s designed for standing curb. Stand this stencil up along the vertical portion of the curb and spray. The lower edge distance measures 1/2″. The letters measure 4″. A vertical curb measuring 4.5″ or more is needed.
