This is one, particular design of a Bicycle Stencil Federal Style ( Federal Style / Spec Bicycle Stencil ). This particular design measures 72″ Tall x 40″ Wide. Along That Note
…there are several styles, including “Home Made”: There are different handle bars, pedal design, diameter of wheels, shape of those wheels, etc. It is impossible to know just which design is on the ground, at your location. If however, you are spraying the path for the first time, this design has worked well. Another note…I drove through my town looking at the Bicycle Stencils that are in some of our roadways. Our stencils are manufactured from Low Density Polyethylene Plastic ( LDPE ). LDPE is certainly reusable, easily cleaned and is the popular choice among pavement marking companies. I’ve been striping parking lots for (29) years and all of my own, personal stencils are the 125 Mil = 1/8″ thick material but, for occasional use, our 60 Mil = 1/16″ thick material will serve you well. Try not to buy anything thinner than 60 Mil. ( .060″ = 1/16″ ) Anything thinner tends to be flimsy and may be over priced.
One more note, if you have a bunch of these to spray, the stencil itself will get “mucky” and drip. I carry rags and gloves for multiple sprays. If you have any questions about pavement marking, please, feel free to call. Thank you in advance. 614.237.8884.
