This is our 48″ BUMP Parking Lot Stencil 4′ BUMP Stencil. These INDIVIDUAL letters measure 16″ wide and use the Department of Transportation FONT and have a 3″ Edge Distance. Our stencils are manufactured from Low Density Polyethylene Plastic ( LDPE ). LDPE is certainly reusable, easily cleaned and is the popular choice among pavement marking companies. I’ve been striping parking lots for (28) years and all of my own, personal stencils are the 125 Mil = 1/8″ Thick Material but, for occasional use, our 60 Mil = 1/16″ thick material will serve you well. Try not to buy anything thinner than 60 Mil. ( .060″ = 1/16″ ) Anything thinner tends to be flimsy / flutter and may be over priced.
Notes…try not to buy a (1) piece stencil here. Those letters may NOT be the 16″ standard width. Check before you buy. And, if you’re trying to match an existing stencil that’s already on the ground, it’ll not happen. There are too may variables, including the spacing. I prefer individual letters for that reason, and, for another reason. If you ever need another Worded stencil, such as; STOP, you already have the “P” here.
