Our “Edge Distances” are also larger than most. It’s not only about over spray protection, it’s about strength. Notes…the most popular choice here is the 12″ letter height. Our stencils are manufactured from Low Density Polyethylene Plastic. ( LDPE ). LDPE is certainly reusable, easily cleaned and the popular choice among pavement marking companies. Choose your material thickness; 60 Mil = 1/16″ thick for occasional use or 125 Mil = 1/8″ thick for professional use. Try not to buy anything thinner than 60 Mil. I’ve been striping parking lots for (30) years and all of my own, personal parking lot stencils are 125 Mil. But, for occasional use, the 60 Mil will serve you well. I hope that helps. Buy with confidence.

One more note…
…if you’re spraying SECRETARY, PRINCIPAL and CUSTODIAN all side by side, snap a chalk line first, or lay a rope along the bottom of all these stalls. Use that as a guide. Lay these stencils along that line and spray. That way, they’ll all be lined up, pretty and straight. And, it’s quick. I hope that helps too.
