All stencils are manufactured from Low Density Polyethylene Plastic ( LDPE ). LDPE is certainly reusable, easily cleaned and is the popular choice among pavement marking companies. Choose either 60 Mil thick = 1/16″ for occasional use or 125 Mil thick = 1/8″ for professional use. Try not to buy anything thinner. It’s too thin. I’ve been striping parking lots for (34) years and all of my own, personal parking lot stencils, which hang from my shop wall, are cut from the thicker, 125 Mil material.
